If you're looking to immerse yourself in a passionate team rooted in community, connection and camaraderie, then we're looking for YOU! #IAmMerz This role is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and execution of strategic and tactical marketing plans that increase brand identity and brand awareness of Inbrija & Ampyra supporting HCP's and PayersThis role works closely with internal partners (sales, market access, patient marketing, regulatory, legal, medical affairs, commercial operations), external agency partners, and KOLs / medical associations that represent the HCPs treating the Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis patients.Essential duties and responsibilitiesBrand StrategyOwns and creates annual brand plans and strategies for patients, in coordination with the HCP and Payer plansStrategy & TacticsExecutes strategies and tactics including print, digital, and social media tactics for the brand, with programs that target patients in coordination with those addressed to HCPs and PayersMarket ResearchUtilizes market research to inform marketing programs.Campaign managementCreates promotional and non-promotional campaign marketing materials; Work collaboratively with PRC (promotional review committee) for the approval of all materials.Cross-functional TeamworkBuilds effective working & cross-functional relationships with key internal customers (e.g., sales, medical, legal, regulatory, reimbursement)Patient advocacyEstablishes strong relationships and partnerships as allowed by regulations to advance the treatment of patient diseases in label scopeAgency ManagementLeads partnerships with all external vendors to ensure timely completion of marketing projects.Patient assistance/savings programsPartners with relevant functions to develop strategies and implement them to improve patient access to our medicinesBudget ManagementAssumes budget accountability for assigned projects and proactively monitors costs against budget.Further TasksDevelops and delivers presentations as needed to commercial management and other internal groups.Education

  • Bachelor's degree required in science or business (required)Professional experience
    • 2-3+ years experience in HCP product marketing in specialty pharma biotechnology industry or life sciences, or other complex disease state.
    • 1-2 years' recent experience in Parkinson's' disease patient promotion
    • Added experience in multiple sclerosis is a plus.
    • Knowledgeable with other neurology therapeutics is a plus
    • Commercial pharmaceutical drug experience
    • HCP Product Launch experience
    • Brand Management experienceKnowledge, skills:
      • Strong project management skills; ability to support and prioritize responsibilities (required)
      • Experience with promotional review committee (preferred)Also Required:
        • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with other departments as necessary to achieve business goals
        • Negotiating skills, specifically with business partners or management
        • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment
        • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
