Summary of Position:The Hardware & Electrical Engineer will support the current product line and contribute to the development of next-generation embedded and electro-mechanical systems. The role focuses on PCB design, power management, sensor integration, and system validation. Responsibilities include working on high-reliability electronics designed for industrial and aerospace applications, ensuring robust performance in challenging operational environments. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design PCBs for low-power embedded systems
• Develop power-efficient circuits for sensor-driven applications
• Select and integrate microcontrollers, RF modules, and sensors
• Conduct bench testing and validation for electronic hardware
• Support hardware bring-up and debugging using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Assist in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing with embedded engineers
• Support scalability of PCB manufacturing and hardware production
• Create test fixtures and validation tools for high-volume manufacturing
• Work closely with embedded and mechanical engineers to refine product designs
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for EMI/EMC performance
• Maintain compliance documentation for hardware integration
• All other duties as assigned
  
  
  Education and/or Experience:Minimum:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware development and PCB design
  • Proficiency in Altium, Eagle, or KiCad for schematic and layout design
  • Experience with power-efficient electronics and low-noise analog/digital circuits
  • Familiarity with wireless communication hardware (BLE, LoRa, Zigbee)
  • Experience in signal integrity and EMI mitigation techniquesPreferred:
    • Experience in aerospace or industrial electronics development
    • Familiarity with DO-160 or other compliance standards
    • Hands-on experience with embedded software and firmware debugging
